Liverpool are looking to confirm their third signing of the Transfer Window with Southampton Star Player set to join as his current team looks to appoint the new manager.

Claude Puel will be appointed as Southampton manager in the next 48 hours as the club will replace the Dutchman Ronald Koeman after he joined Everton.

Southampton has been a selling club for a long time now, producing talents like Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Adam Lallana, Callum Chambers and Luke Shaw.

All these players came through the ranks of the Southampton academy and was sold to big clubs and good profit was made by the Saints.

But there are some players who they also bought, improved and then was sold with the likes of Dejan Lovren, Rickie Lambert, Nathaniel Clyne, Morgan Schneiderlin and now Sadio Mane.

Sadio Mane has been impressive during the 2015/16 campaign as his stats says it all with 46 shots on goal and 47% dribble success rate is good enough to earn a move to the mythic club that is Liverpool now.

The Senegalese attacking midfielder will be very happy with that move after been blocked from joining Liverpool's rival Manchester United in January of 2016.

However Manchester United has respond well by closing on Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to take his medical next week.

Liverpool direct challengers in the league, West Ham have also made a brilliant move in the transfer window by putting a €35M bid for Michy Batshuayi.
