Daniel Sturridge was left on the deck twice this season as he could not help Liverpool to win any of their two finals they played
- losing on penalties against Man City in League Cup final,
- losing against Sevilla 1-3 after he scored a wonderful first goal.
He said that it was heartbreaking to lose the Europa League final and he may leave if he gets good offers from big European club and chance to play in the Champions League and he will consider it.
However Liverpool might already have found a replacement for him as they are targeting Sadio Mane of Southampton who was linked with a move to Man Utd in January 2016.

Sadio Mane has been brilliant against Liverpool this season scoring 3 goals in two matches against the Reds and this may have encourage Jurgen Klopp to sign the pacy winger as he looks to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
Southampton has been losing players to Liverpool for a while now as the Saints sold Nathaniel Clyne, Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren to Liverpool in the last two seasons.
As Liverpool are not in any European competition next season they may miss out on the Senegalese winger because his club will be in Europa League next season.
