Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a device described as a "life-like" bomb was accidentally left by a private company at the stadium following a training exercise involving explosive sniffer dogs held last Wednesday - 11 May 2016.
Tony Lloys who is also a police crime commissioner has insist that someone will be held accountable for this and said that: "It is outrageous that this situation arose.
"A full inquiry is required to urgently find out how this happened, why it happened and who will be held accountable.

However the match that was due to be played will take place tomorrow at 8.00 GMT and this time the match will be played with
higher security but in terms of football it will be pretty much without any importance as Man Utd has already miss out on the
Champions League and with a draw tomorrow they will confirm their place in the Europa League ahead of Southampton.
