Barcelona has just recently release a statement about the extension of Camp Nou and the cost will be around £90M and it may be a reason for some big players to think for their future.
Gerard Pique joined Barcelona from Manchester United and help Barca dominate the European football and Spanish football also but the Spanish national side and even Barcelona has not been performing at the level they were 4 years ago.

However they might bought another defender in form of Brazilian full-back Fabinho who is thought to be Mourinho no.2 target as they wait for Paul Pogba.
Arsenal and Chelsea might also think twice before buying Pique as they already have good defenders in the form of Kurt Zouma at Chelsea and Laurent Koscielny at Arsenal who is a target of Bayern Munich right now.
The one definite reason that he will want to leave Spain would be because of the treatment his received while playing for Spain during the preparation of Euro 2016.
