Breaking NEWS : Manchester United Agree Fee With Benfica (Sky Sources)

Manchester United are now set to announce two deals this week after they agree deal with Benfica for the Swedish defender Victor Lindelof.

Lindelof was targeted by United last season but the player decided to stay at Benfica.

Manchester United will sign the 22-year old defender for a fee of £30.7m with further add-ons of £8.8m based on performances.

A United statement read: "Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof, subject to a medical examination, international clearance and personal terms.

He will be 2nd Swedish player to join Man Utd in 2 years.

"A further announcement will be made once the transfer is complete."

Lindelof has already won three domestic titles with Benfica and was capped 12 times so far by Sweden. He also won the U21 Euro in 2015 beating Manchester City's Bernardo Silva in the final vs Portugal.

He played all the games in the central defence of Sweden at Euro 2016 in France. One Swedish released another bought. Good business by Mourinho.

Mourinho shortlisted 3 central defenders for the summer in Virgil Van Dijk, Michael Keane and Victor Lindelof and he will get one of them signed by the end of this week.

Chris Smalling or Phil Jones future could be over as Mourinho will sell one of these two as reported by several sources. Smalling is already a target for the likes of West Brom and West Ham.
