Breaking NEWS : Striker Agreed Deal To Join Manchester United

Manchester United is on cusp of first signing of the summer as Alvaro Morata has agreed personal terms with Man United.

As reported by both Teelgraph and Marca of Spain, Morata has already speak to Real Madrid coach Zidane and President Perez about leaving the club.

He is now waiting for the fee of transfer to be agreed by both clubs as Man United has already had a £52.3m bid rejected earlier this week.

Real Madrid want £60M for his Spanish striker and the fee will not become a block in the deal as Man United have at least £200M to spend on players this summer.

Marca reported : " Manchester United are set to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, with the player's agent Juanma Lopez having met with Jose Angel Sanchez on Friday to inform the club's hierarchy of the striker's desire to leave. All that remains now is for the directors of the English team to negotiate a transfer fee with their Spanish counterparts."

Jose Mourinho is looking for a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is set to be released by Man United after his contract expires at end of June. Morata has already played under Mourinho during his time at Real Madrid.

He will replace Zlatan as No.9

Morata agent's Juanma Lopez said that his client needs more game time on the pitch after only starting 14 league games for Real Madrid last season.

Lopez said: “He doesn't want to go through another season like that. It was a great season, but he wants to play more. Alvaro is a player who wants to play a more important role. He wants to play more. That's normal for a striker who's scored 19 goals. It's not enough.”
