PREMIER LEAGUE : Manchester City Set For New Keeper Arrival

Manchester City have started their transfer business quite quickly this term as they are now closing in on their second signing of the summer transfer window.

Pep Guardiola is keen to add silverware in the cabinet of Manchester City as he finished his first season without one, for 1st time in his pro managerial career.

He has already signed a world class player from French champions AS Monaco.

Bernardo Silva has agreed to join Manchester City on a 5-year contract as Man City will pay AS Monaco £43M when the transfer market opens officially on 1st July.

He has already passed his medical and signs the contract but he can't be consider an official Manchester City player yet.

The Two signings of Manchester City so far.

As for Ederson, it is very close to completion. Manchester City has struggled a lot with current goalkeepers at their disposal this season and Pep Guardiola has been frustrated more than once this season with Claudio Bravo who was bought in for his passing ability but it didn't work as he made too many mistakes.

Manchester City will pay Benfica a whopping £34.8M that will be a record fee paid for any goalkeeper. He is expected at Manchester City training ground today to complete his medical and sign the contract.

Ederson told Portuguese newspaper Record:

"I still do not know, but this was probably my last match with Benfica."

Bernardo Silva is 22-years old and Ederson is 23-years old so Manchester City is buying for the immediate future as both these two are proven youngsters and will perform at the highest level when they step foot on the pitch. Watch OUT Mourinho & Co.
